The cherry blossoms in Tokyo, where OKURADO's workshop is located, are changing from the white of petals to the green of leaves. Nature will slowly cycle until the city is covered with pure white petals for another moment next spring.

As cherry blossoms in full bloom begin to leaf out, the petals gradually scatter in the wind. OKURADO's cherry blossoms are all handmade without any digital technology to show the delicacy of each petal.

This necklace expresses cherry blossoms in full bloom. The Japanese vermilion lacquer applied on the metal stem expresses the pink color of the actual stem and the strength of the blooming cherry blossoms.

Tokyo, where OKURADO Workshop is located, is dyed white with cherry blossoms from the end of March every year. Two weeks later, the cherry blossoms fall spectacularly.　

This OKURADO cherry blossom necklace was completed in the spring of the third year after spending two springs with the craftsmen in the workshop since the design was conceived. However, the flowers never fall after that.

毎年3月末から桜の花で白く染まります。
そして2週間後には桜の花は見事に散っていきます。

この大倉堂の桜のネックレスは
デザイン起案から2度の春を工房内で職人と共に過ごし、
3年目の春に完成しました。　
ただその後は花が散ることはありません。

The rabbit is said to be a symbol of "prosperity" due to its strong life force. This pin brooch shows a rabbit's back figure made of Keshi pearls. The other is a pin brooch of a rabbit holding a carrot.

For the next month, cherry blossoms in full bloom will pass from the south to the north of Japan. This is a sight that many people have continued to see for hundreds of years, each with their feelings. The cherry blossoms are beautiful in the daytime, but the beauty of the cherry blossoms floating in the moonlight at night is also exceptional. This hair ornament is made of K18 diamonds and Japanese vermilion lacquer.
