一人のスタッフが月に3000～4000ピースを優に超えるダイヤモンドに目を通します。
でもその中から実際に商品に使えるものはほんの一部。
本当に膨大な時間をかけて選別しています。
どうしてそんなに時間をかけるのか。
それは「輝きの強いダイヤモンド」を探すからです。
ディーラーからは常に高品質のダイヤモンドだけが工房に届けられます。
もちろん届けられた高品質のダイヤモンドはすべて「ある程度」は輝きます。
ただ、すべてが私たちの納得のいく輝きではないのです。
「より強く輝く」ものを選び出すのです。
選び出されたダイヤモンドをセットしたOKURADOジュエリーの輝きは格別です。
もう選別なしではジュエリーを創り出せなくなっているのです。

Diamonds that shine brighter
All of the diamonds used in OKURADO jewelry are selected by our professional staff.
One staff member looks through more than 3,000 to 4,000 pieces of diamonds per month.
But only a small percentage of these diamonds can actually be used in products.
It really takes an enormous amount of time to sort them.
Why does it take so long?
It is because we look for diamonds with strong brilliance.
Only the highest quality diamonds are delivered to our workshop from diamond dealers.
Of course, all the high quality diamonds delivered to us will shine “to some extent”.
But not all of them sparkle to our satisfaction.
We select diamonds that “shine brighter”.
The brilliance of jewelry set with selected diamonds is exceptional.
We can no longer create jewelry without selection.
So what is a “more brilliant” diamond? I will explain it to you later.
