2022年もあと数日を残すのみとなりました。
今年も多くの時間をOKURADOジュエリーの素材さがし、デザイン、製作に費やし
思えばあっという間の一年でした。
この一年間振り返り、支えてくれましたお客様、スタッフの皆にただ感謝しています。
2019年末頃から始まったコロナ禍も、もはや3年が経ちました。
当初は「早くコロナ前の正常な状態に戻りたいですね。」などと言い合っていましたが、
3年も経つと少し変わっていき、いつ元に戻るのだろうか、果たしてどこに戻るのか、今となっては戻るというよりもこれから新たなスタートを切るときなのかも、と思ってしまいます。
新たな感染症と共存しつつ仕切り直すべきなのかもしれません。
日本ではやはり大晦日が一つのリセット、そして元旦から新たな仕切り直しというところがあると思っています。
2023年、また新たな気持ちでたくさんのジュエリーを生み出していきます。
皆様それぞれのかたちで穏やかな年末年始を迎えられますことをお祈り申し上げます。

Looking back on 2022
There are only a few days left in the year 2022.
I spent a lot of time this year searching for materials, designing, and making OKURADO jewelry.
Looking back on the past year, I would like to thank all of our customers and staff for their support.
It has now been three years since the COVID-19 pandemic started around the end of 2019.
In the beginning, we said things like, “I can’t wait to get back to the normal state we were in before the pandemic.”
Three years have passed and things have changed a bit, and I wonder when things will return to normal, where they will return to, and if it is time to make a new start rather than return to normal.
Perhaps we should start over while coexisting with new infectious diseases.
In Japan, I believe that New Year’s Eve is a reset, and New Year’s Day is a fresh start.
In 2023, I intend to create many new pieces of jewelry with a renewed spirit.
I wish everyone a peaceful New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in your own way.
