あけましておめでとうございます。
2024年は元旦から石川県能登地方にて大きな地震が発生しました。
被害にあわれた方々、心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。被災地にて不自由な生活をしいられている方々、少しでも普段の生活に戻れるようお祈りしております。
あらためて自然に恐ろしさを感じる年初めとなりました。
日本は自然災害の多い国で、残念ながらそれを避けることはできません。お互い助け合いながら一歩一歩進むしかありません。
東日本震災のときにも思ったことですが、ジュエリーをデザイン・製作することを営みとしている私たちは、自然災害のときすぐに役立つことはできません。
ただ、心に痛みを抱えている方、心の隙間を癒せるようなものを探している方にジュエリーという形で役に立てれば幸いだ、と思うばかりです。
個人的には ときに立ち止まりそうになりながらも、ものづくりという長い１本の道を前に進んで行こう と改めて思う年初となりました。
辰のように大きな変化はもたらせないかもしれませんが、大倉堂は今年も前進していきます。
皆様、本年もどうぞお引き立ての程よろしくお願いいたします。

2024 Year beginning
Happy New Year!
The year 2024 began on New Year’s Day with a major earthquake in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims. For those who are still living in inconvenience in the affected areas, I pray that they will be able to return to their normal lives as much as possible.
This is the first time in the year that I am once again reminded of the horror of nature.
Japan is a country that is prone to natural disasters, and unfortunately we cannot avoid them. We can only move forward step by step, helping each other.
As I thought at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake, those of us who design and make jewelry cannot help immediately in the event of a natural disaster.
However, we are happy if we can be of help in the form of jewelry to those who are in pain and looking for something that can heal the gap in their hearts.
Personally, I have been thinking about moving forward on the long road of jewelry creating, even though I sometimes feel like I have to stop.
Although we may not be able to bring about big changes like the dragon, Okurado will continue to move forward this year.
